SensorML Approved as Version 0.0 |
|
|
The SensorML specification was approved as Version 0 by the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) Technical Committee on July 24, 2006. A Revision Working Group (RWG) for SensorML has been formed. The RWG will address comments made during the RFC process and incorporate recommended modifications into the specification for Version 1.0 approval. The final stage of approval of SensorML as a Version 1.0 Technical Specification will then involve a 60 day electronic voting period by OGC membership. We are anticipating final approval of the SensorML Version 1.0 specification in November-December 2006.
